I knew Nashville was renowned for its music, but what I didn’t realize is that the live music literally spills out from the bars (Honky Tonks) and onto the sidewalks. The heart of it all happens on Broadway Avenue. The music venues keep their windows open and passersby can sample a wide range of musical styles— not just country— while strolling down Broadway. It’s a music lover’s heaven. Haven’t been to Nashville? Then you should add it to your bucket list.

And for the transportation nerds out there, the intersection of Broadway with 3rd Street has a Barnes dance crosswalk, which allows people to cross the street diagonally.
